‘Hope and Change’ has lost its Mojo – New Poll shows Obama approval at 45%
Do you remember just a few short months ago, the lunacy of the crowds shouting Obama’s name as if he was the savior of the world? It was a scary cult like trance, with the entire country full of Obamabot zombies reciting his famous lines – “Hope and Change”, “Yes We Can”, “Change!”.
Well, it is now appearing that President Obama’s ‘Change’ motto has lost it’s mojo! Newsmax is reporting on a new Zogby poll that shows Obama’s approval rating dropping from 52% to now 45%!… Wow, look out below! (Sadly 45% of the country are still infected with the Obamabot virus)
Logical conservatives knew the ‘tanking’ was going to happen once the ‘marxist’ agenda of President Obama and the Liberal Left was exposed to the American public. The main stream media could only hide it in the dark for so long… Eventually Obama himself would expose it, which he has now clearly done.
The only question now is, how low will it go?
President Barack Obama’s popularity has plummeted to a record low, with just 45 percent of voters now approving of his performance, according to the latest Zogby International poll.
Asked whether they approve or disapprove of the president’s job performance, just 45.3 percent of likely voters say they approve. That compares with 50.5 percent who disapprove of the job Obama is doing.
The results are a strong indication that contentious national debate over healthcare reform has taken a major toll on the president’s popularity.
Those numbers also indicate that Obama clearly is in serious political trouble, Fox News analyst and best-selling author Dick Morris tells Newsmax.
“As soon as Obama dropped below 52 percent . . . he was leaking real voters who had backed him in November,” Morris tells Newsmax. “Now that he is down to 45 percent among likely voters . . . he is in deep political trouble.”
Of greatest concern to Obama may well be his decline among all-important independent voters. Just 37.5 percent of self-identified independents say they approve of how Obama is handling the presidency. That compares with 59.2 percent of independents who disapprove.
“There is nothing counterintuitive in any of these numbers,” pollster John Zogby of Zogby International tells Newsmax. “The president is clearly taken a slide — most especially with independent voters, who play such an important role in any legislation or policy support.
The sad thing is that 45% of Americans still approve of the job he is doing – they must be committed liberals and socialists (probably a redundancy) and ethnocentrists who love Obama because of his color.
Let’s list just some of his negatives starting before his presidency and extending for 6 months.
- His mentor Rev Jeremiah Wright and his racist church – 20 yrs a member
- His friends William Ayers and Bernadette Dorn (Weathermen bombers from the 60s), Tony Rezco (convicted criminal), and the Chicago political machine
- ACORN
- His support of abortion and infanticide for babies who survive an abortion
- His cabinet which is made up of tax cheats and thugs
- His political party – Pelosi, Reid, Dodd, Schumer, Waxman, Boxer, Feinstein, Rangle, Frank,….
- His lack of support for the National Day of Prayer and his comment that “America is not a Christian nation.”
- His czars – many radical ethnocentrists, abortionists, population control scare-mongers, and global warming fanatics
- The stimulous package and the financial debacle he has helped to create
- His apology tour to Muslim nations
- GITMO
- As Commander-in-Chief he has failed to lead our military in Afghanistan. He seems oblivious to our national security.
- His lack of transparency in his personal life (try to see his college grades or his official birth certificate) and in his administration
- Approving earmarks when he promised not to.
- Hiring lobbyists when he promised not to.
- the Gates, Crowley racial fiasco
- the Cap and Trade global warming nonsense which passed the House amd will raise every American’s energy bill.
- His lack of support for offshore drilling in the US (although he is lending money to Brazil to drill for oil in teh sea) and for nuclear power plant construction to free us from being hostages to Arab countries .
- His recommendation of Judge Sotomayor to the Supreme Count despite her lack of support for the white and Hispanic New Haven firefighters and her association with La Raza.
- His lack of support for traditional marriage
- His plan for universal health care with a public option which will cost a trillion dollars over 10 yrs.
- His complete lack of fiscal responsibility as he leads our country toward bankruptcy.
I know there is more but I am pressed to find even one area where he has done a good job. He obviously has no respect for the Constitution which limits the size and power of the federal government. I sincerely believe he hates America’s traditions and its most fundamental belief in a transcendent God who guaranties us life, liberty, and the right to pursue happiness as we see fit.
