Conservatives outnumber Liberals in all 50 States!

us map 300x206 Conservatives outnumber Liberals in all 50 States!A new pole from Gallup shows that Conservatives outnumber Liberals in all 50 states and that the number is increasing! Surprisingly this number is higher than in any year since 2004!

What is my take on this? It shows me that many conservatives are waking up from being asleep the last 5 years… They have seen the liberals massive push in government under the Obama Administration and are not happy.

This poll makes me breath a sigh of relief, that maybe there is hope for conservative values again in this country. Maybe the liberal left has not hijacked the country completely…

An excerpt from the CNSNews.com article on the subject is below…

CNSNews.com) – Self-identified conservatives outnumber self-identified liberals in all 50 states of the union, according to the Gallup Poll.

At the same time, more Americans nationwide are saying this year that they are conservative than have made that claim in any of the last four years.

In 2009, 40% percent of respondents in Gallup surveys that have interviewed more than 160,000 Americans have said that they are either “conservative” (31%) or “very conservative” (9%). That is the highest percentage in any year since 2004.

Only 21% have told Gallup they are liberal, including 16% who say they are “liberal” and 5% who say they are “very liberal.”

Thirty-five percent of Americans say they are moderate.

During Republican President George W. Bush’s second term, the number of self-identified conservatives as measured by Gallup dropped, riding at a low of 37% as recently as last year.

According to new data released by Gallup on Friday, conservatives outnumber liberals in all 50 states–including President Obama’s home state of Illinois–even though Democrats have a significant advantage over Republicans in party identification in 30 states.

Newsflash to the Republican party! Want to win the next election… Run a CONSERVATIVE!

It is really that easy.

Love your post, Jason! I completely agree on this issue! Who in their right mind thought an old, liberal senator like McCain could beat Mr. Platitude? McCain really had nothing to offer in his campaign…well, neither of them did for that matter. Obama just sounded better. I’m a huge Ron Paul supporter. While I have a hard time seeing him get into office, it’s not impossible. My favorite “likely” candidate is Romney, although he’s pretty liberal himself. But his solutions are much more conservative than other front-runners. For some reason, I just can’t latch onto Huckabee. Something about him just doesn’t seem right. And I don’t have a lot of faith in Palin, either, although I think she’s great. I think the Ron Paul revolution could come to fruition this next election, though. Obama is setting up a perfect storm for him if he continues on his current trend and people don’t forget what he’s doing to our country in 3 years. Keep up the fight!

      Thanks Brian,

I am also a big Ron Paul supporter and wish we had more concrete conservatives like him within office. Many have called him the ‘Thomas Jefferson’ of our day, and I believe they are right. Also agree with you on Romney and Palin. Love what Palin stands for, but don’t know if she could win the majority. Unfortunately this is mostly due to the vicious attacks of the left that have persuaded the public to believe she is stupid. (The old straw man technique, used when you don’t want to debate the real issues). It seems like you, I’m still waiting for the next conservative to rise up and take the mantle…
