Why Conservative America is Angry!
With all the ‘you tube’ videos of citizens in town halls across the country, I think it’s fair to say that the American people are angry at their elected politicians. If you don’t believe me, then just spend a few minutes cruising the politics section of ‘You Tube’ or the Wall Street Journal online. You will catch all the uproar by average citizens across the heartland of America.
These angry people are not political activists, or even right wing conservatives. They are just average citizens who love their country and are unhappy at the direction the liberal Democrats are taking this nation.
For a liberal, this anger does not compute with them, and they believe ‘the spin’ that these people are insurance wack-jobs, white supremacist Nazis, or right-wing radicals. They see the outbursts as funny and laughable, and will go on bashing the citizen’s objection to the policies of those in power – with no understanding of the reasons for the people’s objections.
Because of this ‘Does not Compute’ mentality of the liberal left… I would like to use this post to simply explain why conservatives, and the nation, are angry.
Conservatives Believe in Limited Government and Personal Freedom
The core of every conservative is individual freedom. Conservatives believe that limited government is the ‘best’ form of government, as it maximizes our freedom and choice. By limiting the government to the ‘chains of the Constitution‘, essentially we are increasing individual liberty. This unwavering belief in what our founders created is what drives conservative thought and passion.
This exact concept is what mainstream Americans want and believe…even if they can’t express it. They do not want a massive bloated government, 11 trillion in debt for their children, with constant political thirst for even more power over their lives… They want to maintain their individual freedom of choice over their health-care, doctors, education, property, religion, and self.
Americans understand this freedom as the ‘American Way’, it is in their blood, and is what makes this country great. If you remove this freedom and replace it with government, the country is no longer the ‘land of the free’. It essentially becomes the ‘land of the slaves’.
In regards to health-care, Americans want health-care reform, but not at the expense of their freedoms! This is the whole point that the ‘elite left’ and mainstream media refuse to realize… The only reform that the people will accept, is the reform that increases their liberty and keeps government out of health-care. This is the core reason for the health-care protests in town halls, seen all across the nation. The people desire more freedom in regards to health-care reform – not more government.
This anger being witnessed by the country, is due solely to the threat of the loss of freedom. By government coming in and removing individual freedom in health-care, it is seen and felt as nothing more than tyranny.
With tyranny there is no compromise or working together – there is either submission or revolution. Which side will come about, is yet to be seen.
If all our congresspeople could receive letters from us including the statement:
“You are free to make choices on passing legislation when you return to Washington.
However, there are consequences to your choices. We, the people are also free to make choices in the upcoming election.
Read Glen Beck’s “Common Sense”. Conservatives should not delay in saving our freedoms of speech, religion, right to bear arms, etc. They are going away methodically but fast
