Abortion – Will anyone defend the helpless?

roevwade1 Abortion   Will anyone defend the helpless?Every year over 42 million human babies are aborted from their mothers. This accounts for 115,000 murders a day, initiated by women created and designed to protect, care for, and nurture these children. Not to mention these murders are usually administered by doctors who are licensed to heal, protect, and cure those in medical need… Is this not the great irony of our day??

In the US alone, there are over 1.37 million abortions per year. Think of the great number this is…  Enough to fill every seat in the football stadium at the University of Michigan 34 times over! Will anyone stand up and defend these helpless infants?

I believe Abortion to be both Evil  and Unconstitutional, and will attempt to identify both below…

1st: Abortion is Evil

If you asked any individual on the street if murder was evil, would you not get the same answer from every single one of them? Of course you would… Every individual, from almost any religion ,would agree that murder is evil and morally wrong. Essentially only an Atheist could argue that murder is not wrong, because in an Atheist’s world there is no God, so there is no moral law giver, and thus no right and wrong. Thus any imaginable evil is not evil at all. (Scary world to live in isn’t it)

But the majority of the country still believe in the Judeo Christian God and the Bible as the moral authority. If you read the Bible at all, I don’t have to argue that murder is evil in the eyes of God. It’s plain as day within the Scriptures.

The question then comes down to this… Is the infant child within the mother a living human being?  If it is, then the answer is simple – murder!  … Answer: Absolutely!

I remember my first 8 week ultrasound seeing my daughter for the first time. It was one of the most amazing moments of my life. There is little in my life so exhilarating as to see her little heart beat on the monitor and to hear it beat through the speakers for the first time. It is clear in my mind that these infants are alive and the killing of them is absolute murder. From this simple fact alone, these atrocities should end.

2nd: Life is an Inalienable Right

It is clear to all Americans that Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness is an inalienable right. A right not determined by government or laws, but is a natural God given right to every human individual. These rights should not be infringed upon and should be upheld by every citizen, even to the point of war and death. If you disagree with this above statement, then you don’t agree with the Declaration of Independence and our nations heritage. You should probably leave the country and go live in Venezuela, as you love dictatorships and slavery.

That being said, infants within their mothers have the same inalienable rights as any individual in society. The idea that abortion interferes with the rights of the mother –It’s my body, I can do what I want with it!– is a fallacy because it ignores the rights of the infant.

The point that many people miss is that your individual rights only extend so far as they don’t suppress the rights of another individual. For example, your right to free speech is a right given by law, but it only extends so far as that it doesn’t infringe on another individuals right to free speech. So, an individuals right to life and liberty does not give them the authority to destroy another individuals right to life and liberty. The rights only extend so far as to not infringe on another individuals rights. (This is basic stuff, but is many times overlooked by those who support abortion)

3rd: Abortion is Unconstitutional

If you disagree with the inalienable right argument, then you can at least see that Abortion is Unconstitutional and at a minimum belongs in the hands of the States. Roe vs. Wade was decided on the 14th Amendment of the US Constitution. The Amendment is Below…

Section 1: All persons born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the State wherein they reside. No State shall make or enforce any law which shall abridge the privileges or immunities of citizens of the United States; nor shall any State deprive any person of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws.

The court ruled that the state laws preventing abortion were unconstitutional because they violated a woman’s rights under the 14th Amendment. The great error of this ruling is that the 14th Amendment can also be argued to protect the unborn infant as well, as the intent of the Amendment and the Constitution as noted in the Preamble is to prevent the State from violating an individuals right to life and liberty. So the murder of infants (as infants are individuals) under the 14th Amendment is also unconstitutional, thus the state laws were perfectly legitimate under the Constitution. At the very least, Roe vs. Wade, should be reviewed and overturned, with the right to set up such laws given to the States as outlined in the 10th Amendment.

In short, abortion is evil, immoral, unconstitutional, but most of all it is murder! As individuals we should do everything we can to protect these helpless infants and give them the opportunity of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.     Our President, Barak Obama, is a true friend of the abortion industry. He is Planned Parenthood’s dream leader, a man who cannot logically comprehend that a baby in the womb is indeed a human being who deserves all of the constituional rights guaranteed to all Americans. Obama said it was above his pay grade to determine the value of the unborn. Obama said that if one of his daughters became pregnant against her desire, abortion would be the best answer to insure that her life was not ruined. He voted against the “Born Alive Infant Protections” Act which insures that babies that survive an abortion are given full medicare care. Obama would just let them die. Obama is thus in favor of infanticide as well as abortion. I cannot come to any other conclusion than that this man is evil.

      Hard to argue with the evidence… To vote against the ‘Born Alive Infant Protections Act’ is the same as voting for infant slaughter. Its amazing we even need a law to protect babies born in this country. Sad.
