More Propaganda on Government Healthcare
It’s bad enough that the mainstream media keeps tripping over it’s heals to worship this administration and every bonehead idea for our country that they dream up. But now they are publishing straight out propaganda on their polling data of those who support government run health care. In a great blog article on hotair.com and GreenRoom, the authors point out that the NYT/CBS poll is rubbish, and is outright liberal propaganda. An excerpt from the article is below..
This is what propaganda looks like:
Americans overwhelmingly support substantial changes to the health care system and are strongly behind [72%] one of the most contentious proposals Congress is considering, a government-run insurance plan to compete with private insurers, according to the latest New York Times/CBS News poll.
Bruce Kesler points out that — in traditional NYT/CBS fashion — the sample is badly skewed:
According to the actual poll data, of the 73% of respondents who said they voted in 2008 only 34% voted for McCain and 66% for Obama. The actual vote was 48% McCain.
Now for conservatives, we see this type of garbage everyday from our mainstream media, but at the New York Times they take amazing steps towards a state run media outlet. With statistics, the outcome is only as good as the sample size. In this case the sample was badly skewed towards a liberal objective. The article further points out that the sample size was badly skewed towards liberals over conservatives and moderates, including 10% of those sampled who are unemployed and not looking for work, and 16% who were unemployed and looking for work. (26% unemployed in the sample size? Come on now…)
I find it amazing that ordinary thinking people in this country still read the New York Times as a truthful unbiased news paper and not the funny papers, or some Democrat party news pamphlet. If conservatives don’t point out the liberal objective of government run everything in this country and the disaster government run health care will be (which is the same as government insurance options), it seems no one will.
Cheers Thinking Patriots,
Jason
