State Run Media Unmasked!

If you haven’t read this information from the Drudgereport, and the letter from the republican national committee, I recommend you read it now. It is astonishing, and I am still in disbelief while writing this post. Conservatives have been pointing out for some time that the media is bought and paid for by the left wing, run by liberals that no longer care about presenting the news fairly and unbiased. It has essentially become a state run media agency void of actual truth, and is now running a left wing campaign while masquerading as true journalists. The American people need to wake up and realize what is going on, and demand fair and unbiased reporting from their media. The debate on government health care must be presented to all Americans, with both sides of the debate given equal opportunity to display their conclusions. The enormous expense of government health care, and the risks to the health of the American people demand at least this opportunity, but I’m afraid they will not get it.

It has become clear now, that those in power desire a state controlled media in order to push their propaganda on ignorant citizens with little to no opportunity for them to hear opposing opinions. This is not a democrat vs. republican issue, this is becoming a democracy vs. totalitarianism issue, plain and simple. If it were not, our media would have opposing views on the issues, but we all know that with the ’state run’ media this ‘dog and pony show’ will be a one sided sales pitch on the glorious benefits of government health care. (This would be fine if it were a show from a nightly commentator, but this is suppose to be unbaised reporting?? Give me a break already!) I ask you, how is this different than North Korea, China, Iran, or any other state run news agency, censoring one view and showing only the government’s view? It has become dangerously close with the intentions of both country’s leaders being the same; the absolute intent of those in power to control the people through information. It is without a doubt, a direct threat to liberty in this country and must be resisted.
